Everyone has different work flows for listing items on Amazon. Here's an example of my favorite workflow for listing books with ScanLister in 8 steps.
1. Presort books by condition.
2. List books with ScanLister.
3. List on Amazon and convert to FBA.
4. Create a shipment. If Amazon splits the shipment, print the labels from the larger shipment first.
5. Label the books. If there are any books from the previous shipment, place those aside for later.
6. Put the books into boxes and place the shipping label on each box.
7. If shipment was split, repeat previous steps for that shipment.
8. Drop the packages of at the UPS store or schedule a pick up.
Here's a video that shows the process in more detail.

Nathan,
Very excited to get started with ScanLister as I’m getting our business underway. Of the 500 or so books I plan to list FBA when I get started with ScanLister, about half of them are already listed for sale on Amazon as MF. Do I simply delete those MF listings when I list those books FBA?
Thanks.
Mike

That would probably be easiest. You can also convert your existing listing to FBA as well. However, you may have to hunt for the books to match the labels. If you re-list them using ScanLister you won’t have to search for the books.

Nathan, what equipment are you using to scan items? I’m currently just using Profit Bandit on my Coolpad Flo android. It can be very slow. What would you recommend to an FBA seller who sells more than books, e.g. toys, groceries, sporting goods, media? Many thanks.

I use FBAScan with a Samsung Galaxy S7. Here’s a video.

Great list Nathan! Another quick tip I would add is to offer full descriptions of every flaw that your book has.

I have found that just a basic description is good enough. In my opinion, the key is get the books out as fast as possible.
