Best Blogs and Newsletters in the Online Selling World

Adam Bertram:  Sell Your Books Online

If selling books on Amazon.com or eBay is your thing – then this blog is for you.  It is highly concentrated in the field of selling books on Amazon.  His topics range from: Amazon, Fulfillment by Amazon, pricing strategies, hand-held pricing scanners, Monsoon & FBAPower.com listing programs, record keeping, and much more.

He is a self-proclaimed workaholic.  His passions include bookselling and technology – all while holding a full-time job.

His blog has grown dramatically over the last two years.  It is published every Tuesday (or so) with valuable content.  Even if he doesn’t have time to update it, he will have a guest blogger fill in.  If you have the time, I would recommend checking the archives.  He could probably make a $100 eBook out of the material if he wanted to.

Adam is also the author of Used Books: Big Business:  A very comprehensive guide on selling books on Amazon, eBay, and more.  It is now available in PDF and in audio format.  If you have a Kindle, you can also buy it here.

Steve Lindhorst:  Multichannel Surfer

Steve is one of the pioneers in the online selling world.  He was a former eBay University instructor in San Jose, CA back in the early 2000s.  In the past couple years, he has branched out into selling on Amazon FBA.  He has written some very good eBooks on the subject including:  The Amazon Quick & Dirty Guide and The Quick and Dirty Guide II.

He is best known for his friendly demeanor and his honest advice.  He only promotes products that he has personally tried.  His newsletter, the Multichannel Surfer, is published about once a month.

Skip McGrath:

Skip is another pioneer and started selling on eBay in the late 1990s.  He has also written about 10 books on the subject with, How to Make a Living Working From Home, as his most recent book.

Skip is the 6th most trusted internet marketer according to IM Report Card (Internet Marketing).

His newsletter comes out about twice a month with a wealth of information mostly related to eBay.  He has over 40,000 readers – so he must be on to something.  At the very least, you should check out his free guide – 77 Tips and Tools for Selling on the New eBay.

I agree – Bertram and Lindhorst are awesome! Skip McGrath is a bit too negative for me but still has some good insight. You need to add “Book to the Future”!
