FBA Resources

I thought it would be helpful to create a resource page that you can always come to for all of your Amazon FBA needs.  I recommend bookmarking this page for your references and convenience. Enjoy!

FBA Resources for Amazon Sellers

Scanner Software for Scouting

  • Asellertool:  They offer a PDA or Smartphone scanner package.  More importantly, these are local database scanners.  That means all of the data is stored in a memory card, so you don’t have to worry about getting a good internet connection. Their software is currently between $30-$40 a month.  You can view the scanner packages on their website or on eBay.     Use the referral code “future2” for a $15-$20 discount.
  • Neatoscan: They offer a PDA or Smartphone version as well.  Just like Asellertool, Neatoscan’s software runs on a local database to ensure fast scanning.  The price is currently $50 a month.  You can view the scanner packages on their website.

Listing Programs

  • InventoryLab.com :  This is a listing program that offers listing, bookkeeping, and analytics.  This is currently $49/month and you get a free one month trial.
  • ScanLister:  This is what I use when I want to list over 50 books in one sitting.  This is for booksellers who tend to list/sell in volume.  Currently $15 per month or a one-time fee of $200.  Includes an 8-Day free trial. Disclaimer – I'm the creator of this bulk listing program.

Listing Equipment

  • Motorola LS2208 Barcode Scanner:  This is a keyboard wedge scanner that you can plug into the USB port of your computer.  Point the mouse cursor on the screen and scan the barcode of your item.  This makes listing much easier and eliminates the need to manually enter the title, UPC, or ISBN number.
  • Dymo Label Writer 450:  This is a recommended printer if you plan to use InventoryLab or Listtee.  This printer will print out the individual FBA labels that are required for your Amazon FBA inventory.

 Book Sales

  • Book Sale Finder:  This is a very popular website for finding book sales.  The only problem is that every other bookseller knows about this website.  So, when you go to a book sale, there will likely be other sellers there.
  • Book Sales Found:  This is a very powerful website because this lists book sales that are not found on BookSaleFinder.com.  I recently went to a sale in South Carolina that I found on Book Sales Found.  I was the only one there with a scanner, and it was easily a $1000+ sale in profits.
