Nathan, how have you been? Are you cutting down on FBA?
I have had 10 years of fun, but made the decision to leave FBA completely. Too much work for less. The horror stories of FBA sellers losing the ability to get the Buy Box at all is one of the things that scares me. Imagine loading up an inventory of thousands of books in FBA, and Amazon stops letting you ever have the Buy Box! That is the last straw. I am selling on eBay, Discogs, Etsy, social media and locally.
I withdrew my FBA inventory before the last monthly LTSF and have it all here in my garage. Am thinking about listing in ABE or Biblio or Alibris. Going to have to make the change to a “warehouse it yourself” seller now.

I’m doing well. I’m still selling books via FBA. I’m a bit more picky at what I send in, but I’m still going strong. I’m also experimenting with selling books in lots on eBay which I will be posting about soon.
I haven’t heard of any sellers losing the buybox permanently. I know that Amazon has metrics in place, and you have to be in good standing with them to get the buybox.
Let me know how you are doing with selling on social media locally. I’m curious on how successful that approach is.
